The South Dakota Department of Education honored three STI programs for their excellence in career and technical education with the State Director’s Award during the Career and Technical Education Conference that was held in Pierre in July. The Electronics Technology Program coordinated by Curt Olson and Bryan Cox won in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math Cluster. The Learners to Leaders program is coordinated by Cheryl O’Brien, Erin Bofenkamp, and Debra Hunking. The Financial Services program coordinated by Dana Wolff and Dennis Peters won in the Business Administration and Marketing Cluster.
