Thinking of Transferring Schools?

It’s OK to make a change!  Did you know that almost one-third of our students started at another college or university and transferred to Southeast Tech?  There’s a reason!  Southeast Tech offers the most cost-effective solution for students in the Sioux Falls area.  Focused on hands-on learning, STI is a great alternative to traditional higher education and offers excellent career opportunities for graduates in over 40 programs.

How to Enroll
It’s simple.  Fill out a free application for admission
on our website.  Send us official copies of your high school and college transcripts.  Be sure to have your schools send the documents directly to Southeast Tech (that’s what makes them official).

Transfer Credits
STI will accept credits from any post secondary institution accredited by one of the major regional accrediting associations, e.g., Higher Learning Commission, North Central Association of Colleges and Schools – Commission on Institutions of Higher Education (NCA-CIHE).  Acceptance of transfer credits is contingent upon the student having completed the course or courses with a grade of “C” or better, and that in the judgment of the Registrar, the course credit and content is similar to that contained in the STI course.   Transferred credits are not used in determining grade point average.

Orientation and Registration
Once you’ve been admitted to Southeast Tech, you’ll be invited to campus to register for classes before your first semester.  Student Services will process a degree audit for your intended major and will assist you with registration.
